The annual High School Honor Band features performances by over 400 talented high school musicians from more than 100 schools across the upper Midwest. The 2026 Honor Band will feature a performance of a world premiere by Kevin Day that was commissioned to celebrate the 60th UWEC High School Honor Band. Guest conductors are Dr. Kara Metzger, Dr. Michael Scott, Dr. Phillip Ostrander and Dr. John R. Stewart.
